‘Stiftung Kindertraum’ makes wishes come true.

Our donation to the Kindertraum Foundation has been an important fixed point in the year for Schick Hotels Vienna for over 20 years. The original idea of turning the budget for Christmas cards into a monetary donation has now become a cherished tradition.

The Stiftung Kindertraum (Kindertraum Foundation) has set itself the goal of fulfilling the heart’s desires of seriously ill children and children with special needs. Every fulfilled heart’s desire brings joy, through an extraordinary experience, through success in medical treatments, through togetherness and fun in the group, through technical devices that enable communication or meaningful occupation, or through accompanying animals, as a friend and helper … One could list many more possibilities. The important thing is that all fulfilled wishes give the children and their parents new confidence.

Music therapy for Andrej

Andrej is 4 years old and lives in Vienna. He has been diagnosed with early childhood autism and communicates non-verbally through gestures, facial expressions and visual signs. Andrej is an extremely active child who relies on a lot of help from his mother in his everyday life. The little boy benefits from a music therapy tailored to his needs, which gives him new opportunities to express his feelings better.

Together with the Stiftung Kindertraum and on behalf of all our guests and partners at Schick Hotels, it was very important to us to fulfill another heartfelt wish this year. Music therapy gives Andrej the chance to strengthen his self-confidence and communicate better with those around him.
