You hurry through Mariahilferstrasse, Kohlmarkt or Kärtnerstrasse and simply don’t find what you’re looking for! First, you get slight panic attacks. You want to present yourself in a new outfit very soon or put your best foot forward and have the gift ready in time for the big day.

Many visitors to Vienna, as well as we locals know the city’s landmarks and walk right past the major label stores in the shopping streets. But do you also know the many small and fine designer stores in the 7^th District, shops and boutiques in the side streets that offer their goods for sale, and that will happily cater to unusual requests?

Shopping with Lucie!

Lucie is an American who was born in Colorado and grew up in New York. Love led her to Austria, where she stayed. After some back and forth, she discovered her life’s work at the MQ Fashion Show in 2006 and since then has offered her Shopping with Lucie tours.

I already had the pleasure of making a tour through the 7^th District with her and found many stores that I otherwise would almost certainly have passed by. The tour aroused in me a desire for further explorations. How about you?
