‘Stiftung Kindertraum’ makes wishes come true.

Our donation to the Kindertraum Foundation has been an important fixed point in the year for Schick Hotels Vienna for over 20 years. The original idea of turning the budget for Christmas cards into a monetary donation has now become a cherished tradition.

The Stiftung Kindertraum (Kindertraum Foundation) has set itself the goal of fulfilling the heart’s desires of seriously ill children and children with special needs. Every fulfilled heart’s desire brings joy, through an extraordinary experience, through success in medical treatments, through togetherness and fun in the group, through technical devices that enable communication or meaningful occupation, or through accompanying animals, as a friend and helper … One could list many more possibilities. The important thing is that all fulfilled wishes give the children and their parents new confidence.

To quote the Stiftung Kindertraum: Fulfilled children’s dreams mean security and warmth … and always a little bit of bliss.

Remedial education for Luisa

Luisa is 3 years old, lives in Vienna and, due to massive developmental and perceptual difficulties, needs targeted therapy to be able to communicate and cope with everyday life. The little girl benefits from remedial education that is tailored to her needs and interests. She learns to express her wishes in a playful way and is already achieving initial successes with the therapy.

Fates like Luisa’s show us what is really important in life. That is why it was a great concern for us to fulfill this heart’s desire in the name of all our guests and partners in the Schick Hotels together with the Stiftung Kindertraum. Continuing the therapy gives Luisa self-confidence and is a great relief for her and her family.
