The fourth COOK & LOOK trade fair at Messe Wien

For the fourth time – from January 16-19, 2014 – Messe Wien invites you to Austria’s largest cooking and gourmet trade fair, the COOK & LOOK, which will also take place simultaneously with the FERIEN-Messe Wien (Vacation Fair Vienna) and the VIENNA Autoshow. Last year, there were 148,000 visitors who did not miss out on this delightful event. For 2014, a similar number of visitors is expected, and once again top chefs and entertaining live cooking shows are on the program.

Lifestyle, ambiance, gourmet & domestic specialties

Ambiance and accessoires, flatware and place settings, organic products and fresh farm foods, breweries and wine press houses, cocktails, gourmet literature and cooking journals, coffee, tea and cocoa, kitchen aids and devices, kitchen and dining room furniture, mineral water and juices, foodstuffs and luxury foods, chocolate and confectionery products, as well as wines and distillates. In 2014 as in previous years, regionality is once again the culinary focus under the aegis of the GENUSS REGION Österreich.

Additional major partners are Kellogg Austria, BÖG, Grana Padano, GUSTO and WOMAN / NEWS Verlag.

Focus on raw fruits and vegetables

Warm food leaves us cold – the raw fruits and vegetables area of the Cook & Look starts off with this motto. First organized by AllesRoh Vitalkultur in January 2013, the raw fruits and vegetables trade fair enters its second round in January 2014. This time, too, many interesting exhibitors will present their products on-site and show that raw fruits and vegetables, especially gourmet ones, have much more to offer than cabbage and turnips.

Live cooking shows with star chefs

A very special extra feature of COOK & LOOK is the live cooking shows, in which top chefs such as Oliver Hoffinger, Reinhard Gerer, Toni Mörwald, Bernie Rieder, Adi Bittermann and several more chefs cook up a storm and let you look into their pots and pans. Ask anything you’ve always wanted to ask and get an autograph from your favorite chef.

A top-notch gourmet weekend, one which you should definitely keep free and make a mental note of.
